Protecting You and Your Loved Ones
Speaking today was Chris Jordan and Deb Olsen, our chamber ambassadors. Every chamber member has a mentor or an ambassador, and the South Orange County Chamber needs more!
The chamber has 1100 members, and the ambassador leaders help all the new businesses who join. If you volunteer as an ambassador, you get to attend ribbon cuttings here in Orange County and expose yourself to businesses you may never meet otherwise.
Sometimes just delivering that new member package will bring you business! Be the first face new members meet.
Ambassadors meet off Antonio and Oso Pkwy, the first Friday of every month at 7am at the RSM Water District. If you would like to be an ambassador, call Carol Bridges, Chris Jordan or Deb Olsen.
Also speaking today was Kel Turner with KT Alarm Systems, Orange Counties home & car alarm specialists.
Everyone needs protection for their home, family and car. So why not be prepared? Do you already own an alarm system and deal with the fact that your dog sets your alarm off? Kel can help! He informed us that there are pet-sensors now-a-days that help prevent incidents like that.
There are also glass break sensors, alarms specfically for windows and screens (hello REO realtors!) as well as dual tech sensors. These check body mass AND microwave sensors. They may be a little more expensive, but they are much more accurate, and let’s face it, you can’t put a price on yours or your loved ones safety. Wow, there are so many great ways to secure your property, protect you and your loved ones and gain piece of mind.
Response times depend on the police departments, but the average response time is 40 minutes!!! If you think you’re at risk then call kel for a free security analysis and he’ll let you know ways to improve your alarm and security.
That’s it for today everyone!!! Have a great day 🙂
