Orange County Dry Cleaning Specialist Speaks At South Orange County Chamber Of Commerce

The most recent South Orange County Chamber of Commerce meeting was an interesting one and featured a very interesting speaker.  Bill Alvarez the Orange County dry cleaning delivery specialist presented those in attendance with a show and tell presentation.  The presentation dealt with what to look for in garments you have dry cleaned to determined just how well they’ve been cleaned and how to spot a job poorly done.  From looking closely at your garments to identifying cover up’s on stains and things of that nature Bill addressed it all. Not long after speaking about how to spot bad dry cleaning, he presented us with two garments, one from a competitor and a second which came from his  shop and the difference was so great, we all found ourselves in awe of just how clean his was when compared to a run of the mill competitor.   Bill’s Orange County dry cleaning delivery services set the standard for dry cleaning in Orange County and set the bar very high.

After the demonstration of garment comparison Bill next spoke about why so many people complain about or are often frustrated with their usual Orange County dry cleaning delivery services.  He was quick to point out that the majority of dry cleaners care very little about your garments and as a result often damage the clothing you leave with them.  He further explained that many dry cleaners also don’t have your garments ready in a timely fashion, blatantly ignore your instructions or requests, leave stains on your garments, and sometimes lose your shorts!  As an Orange County dry cleaner, making you look great is Bill’s highest priority and he achieves this by providing a dry cleaning service that’s honest, priced fairly, dependable, and reputable.

In addition to providing south land residents with unparalleled Orange County dry cleaning delivery services, Bill’s also a green dry cleaner and spends considerable time showing and other dry cleaners how to operate green.  Providing people with a great service is only part of Bill’s day as he aims to do as much as he can to be and to allow others to be environmentally responsible.

Bill Alvarez is all about customer relations and making sure they’re satisfied.  If you have questions about Bill’s Orange County dry cleaning delivery services be sure to contact him for assistance.  Contact Bill today to receive your FREE pickup!

Orange County Nutrition Specialist, Jeanne Mcgowen Talks Shaklee!

Today we had Jeanne Mcgowen our Orange County nutrition specialist!

Jeanne loves the Shaklee System of supplements and that’s what she spoke about today. Shaklee is growing explosively, and she showed a video about using natural products to bring about a balance in your health. Shaklee creates leaders for those who sell it, and health for those who take it.

These antioxidants and supplements make a difference in many lives…do you need an energy boost? What about a better balance? vitalizer packs have 80 different nutrients to bring you VITALITY…guaranteed! If you are like most you don’t eat well and you have a ton of toxins in your body. You need vitalizer to clean out those toxins and get your best health back.

Mulitvitiman users vs shaklee users had no comparison – Shaklee clients had much more balance in their bodies than those who simply took vitamins. Are you taking a ton of pills and don’t know why? Fatigued even though you take vitimins??

Call jeanne today and see what she can do for you!!!

Debbie Lewandowski: Orange County Networking Specialist

Today we had Debbie Lewandowski, our commercial queen and Orange County networking specialist!

Debbie started her business, Your Spotlite 4 years ago based on people needing a substitute salesperson at an affordable cost. If you don’t know Debbie, you’re missing out on some great opportunities!

Can’t make the Chamber meeting this week? Debbie does fabulous commercials for Chamber members when they can’t make the SOC meetings.

Are you running a booth at an upcoming trade show??? She’s available to come and help run your booth!!! Wow!

Debbie is  a natural at networking and making new connections, and once again she proved why with another great speech!

Here’s a great piece of information that Debbie supplied us with today… Did you know it only takes 7 seconds to make a first impression and 7 times for someone to actually remember you?

Get to know people on a personal AND professional level. It’s much easier to connect with someone when you can understand them outside of business as well as inside of business. You have 2 ears and one mouth for a reason, to listen more than you talk. Being someone who observes and pays attention will give you the opportunity to see what someone is really looking for rather than what you think they’re looking for.

Wear your name badge on the right, so when you go to shake hands it gets closer… It’s things like this that most of us would never think about. Sometimes… actually a lot of times it’s the small things collectively that can make all the difference.

Let’s talk handshakes. Don’t be a limp fish or a bone crusher. Firm but not aggressive. You don’t want to intimidate or give the feeling that you’re trying to intimidate and you also don’t want to give the idea that you’re not confident about yourself and hesitant. It’s the balance. The Yin and the Yang, if you will.

How about edicit? Never criticize your competition, lift them up! Criticizing your competition isn’t the best look. It looks a bit petty to others and could hurt your image in the long run.

Stop trying to sell! People are not networking to buy right now, silly. That’s for your follow up once a relationship has been established. This goes hand and hand with what was mentioned about getting to know people on a personal and business level.

You’ll have a better chance of making a sale once you really know what your soon-to-be customer is looking for.

Arrive early and stay late, that’s when you have your face to face time, plus you become the most relevant when you’re the person who is there the longest.

Now let’s focus on elevator pitches and your 20-30 second commercials…

How do you determine what your focuses will be when advertising??? Debbie did a little Q&A with member Carol Bridges of Treasured Moments Photography

Debbie: What Differentiates you?
Carol: Relationships
Debbie: What’s your favorite tagret?
Carol: Babies
Debbie: Why?
Carol: Because I didn’t have my own and they became my grandchildren.
Debbie: What’s your favorite event?
Carol: Military Homecomings and weddings.

Take the time to ask these types of questions really opens doors to sooooo many ideas for advertisements and commercials! Once again, it’s all about getting to know your potential clients and customers!

Here’s a great piece of advice once you have your commercials all ready to go… Rotate your specific commercials out. This is a great opportunity to show all that you’re capable of and not over saturate yourself with the same commercial over and over. Keep people interested. Would you want to watch the same episode of a TV show over and over? Probably not! You want people to understand your overall business, not just one part of it.

That’s it for today!

Contact Debbie today to learn more about how you can improve your networking skills and broaden your horizons when it comes to connecting to people.

10 Business Marketing Tips – Boost your sales!

Thank you to Karen Morrison, Orange County women’s business coach, for always sending out newsletters with great info for business owners.  This article is posted with her permission, for your benefit!  Thanks Karen!!!

10 Hot Marketing Tips

Did you know that, statistically, it takes at least seven to ten contacts with a person before they will even CONSIDER buying from you?

Wow! If you think about it, this explains why so many business owners are not making it in their business. They simply do not have a system for consistently and persistently reaching out to their prospects, and frankly, they give up way too soon!

I often tell the story of the client who I called every month for an entire year and she never returned my call- that is until month 13- she ended up working with me for several years and paying me thousands of dollars.

People have all sorts of reason why they are not hiring you or buying your services. Perhaps they do not know you well, the timing is not right, or they do not understand what it is that you can do for them.

The key is to “touch” them regularly, whether it be in person, over the phone or by mail. Then, over time, they begin to know and trust you. And when they have a need for what you do, you will be the one that they call.

It is that simple!

Here are ten hot ideas for getting your name in front of your prospective clients regularly.

#1  Write a Monthly Newsletter
#2  Host an Open House or Networking Event
#3  Invite someone to attend an event with you
#4  Send Birthday Cards
#5  Have a booth at a Trade Show
#6  Write Articles
#7  Attend Networking Events
#8  Send “Nice to Meet You” Notes
#9  Follow Up With a Phone Call
#10 Offer Your Speaking Services at no Charge

Why don’t you come up with you own list and begin implementing a “touch” or “drip” system, and watch your business soar!!  – Karen

Please comment some of your creative business marketing ideas and let’s make this our best year yet!  Here are 3 of Cal Coast Web Design’s marketing suggestions:

1.  Do a webinar!
2.  Blog about your client success stories
3.  Social network!  Invite everyone you meet to connect with you on LinkedIn or Facebook.
